Program
- Departure: From Kiruna or ICEHOTEL, embark on a 40-minute scenic drive to our kennel.
- Route Highlights: Travel along the majestic Kalix River, one of Europe’s largest unexploited river systems. Weather permitting, you might catch a glimpse of Kebnekaise, Sweden’s highest peak.
- Wildlife Encounters: Keep an eye out for moose in their natural winter habitat.
The Dog Sledding Experience
- Introduction: Begin with our exclusive Husky Dream tour. You’ll receive comprehensive instructions on both sled driving and engaging with our dogs.
- The Journey: Traverse frozen landscapes, passing swamps, rivers, and mountain forests. You’ll share the sled-driving responsibilities, ensuring about 45 minutes of driving time each.
- Scenic Beauty: Marvel at the backdrop of Kebnekaise, adding to the tour’s enchantment.
Mindfulness and Animal Care
- Learning Session: Gather in our special mindfulness tipi for an insightful session on the Trust Technique.
- Practical Application: Understand the technique’s application and its impact on building a harmonious relationship with animals, especially dogs. We’ll also address any dog-related challenges you might face at home, offering practical solutions.

Guiding you on this journey is Ylva Forssén, a seasoned expert in dog handling with more than two decades of experience, particularly in bird hunting and sled dogs. Ylva, a well-rounded dog psychologist with a Level 3 Diploma in Mindfulness from the Crossfields Institute, specializes in the Trust Technique. Her approach to mindfulness in daily training not only nurtures a stress-free atmosphere in our kennel but also offers insights into building healthier, problem-free relationships with your dogs.

You will need to make a full payment at the time of booking. You can cancel your activity up to 14 days before arrival and receive a full refund. No refunds will be made for cancellations made 1-14 days before the tour date.
In case of extreme weather due to cold or storm the tour of the day will be canceled and switched to another tour that operates. In case we are not able to arrange anything you will get a 100% refund.
